I remember taking the Dayliner from downtown Calgary to downtown Edmonton in early 1970. Going to see my Grandmother in Edmonton with my Mom was that much more special because as a 7 year old, I was totally into trains and train sets. Thanks for posting an HO piece of CP Rail history.

As a Brit who models American HO I have a great liking for railcars. I currently have a Budd RDC plus's two Doodlebugs in my loco collection. Watching a single railcar plodding along the track in a rural setting evokes a sense of nostalgia.
