A lot was made about the potentially problems between Wayne Rooney & Cristiano Ronaldo after they clashed at the 2006 World Cup when Rooney was sent off. Rooney assisted Ronaldo in the first Premier League game of the 2006/07 season and dispelled any rift between the pair.
