Free Guy - Exclusive Official Clip (2021) Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer | IGN Premiere

All month long, IGN Premiere is spotlighting some of the biggest upcoming releases in entertainment. Today, we have an exclusive action scene from the video game-themed film Free Guy, starring Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer. Millie is out to determine who stole her code for Free City and, as her badass avatar Molotov Girl, she comes into contact with Guy. In this clip, Molotov Girl and Guy infiltrate one particularly secure location in Free City in order to acquire a much-needed digital clue, a mission that sees them engage in some, ahem, mortal combat with those securing it. Free Guy opens only in theaters on August 13 in the US and UK and on August 12 in Australia.

Man, Ryan Reynolds is that actor everyone loves but if he's not Deadpool his films are just so mediocre most of the time. He's got a few great ones, but not the actor you can blindly trust to go see anything he puts out, like Denzel or Jackman

How does something supposedly action packed manage to look so boring and awkward? Also the amount of clumsy cuts and editing is amazing. How do they have motion blur when the camera is moving with them? Why can Ryan still hear when someone fires guns right next to his ears? Who knows.
