I come from a baseball background, and could pretty much immediately throw over-stable forehands for days, but have always struggled with under-stable discs like putters/mids/flippy drivers. Now I know why, and now I have an actual game plan VIA the drills to correct :). Thanks again for your time and FREE intellectual property, its invaluable and certainly appreciated man. I don't think it can be overstated, you're a great teacher Paul! Keep em' coming and cheers from CO!

What type of putter do you use for forehand, stable, overstable ?

When it's late at night and your intro starts with views of a green and white neon sign being reflected on a cool damp floor with club beats in the background.. I always think about how a Heineken advertisement would be if they sponsored disc golf media in tournament coverage.

This drill saved my life! I was a pitcher in college with a 90 mph fastball and i was throwing the disc so hard and with so much wobble. It was turning so hard it was doing barrel rolls. Lol. This drill was such an epiphany for me. Immediate change!

I haven’t ever been able to forehand and went out two days in a row trying this and threw the best forehands of my life

Good stuff. I'd love to see a video talking about how spin affects disc flight and how important it is for distance, control, etc. A backhand specific spin video would be sweet too.

This tip has turned my forehand into a utility scramble choice to a feasible option all over the course. Thank you for this. Keep it up, some of the best disc golf content available.

Hmmm. fingers out in front. I can see that slowing my arm down some so the OAT will improve. I like it!
Man with that smoothness of your forehand approaches, you must be deadly from 150ft and in.
Thanks Paul

This is GOLD.
I've been struggling so much with any semblance of consistency with my sidearm. I practiced with this in mind and it was the biggest lightbulb moment I've had in forever.
All my throws came out with tons of spin and I felt I could place it anywhere on any angle.
I've watched so many sidearm tips videos and this is the only one that fixed my specific problem.

You're an angel Paul! Please keep it coming!

Thank you for this video. One of my biggest fllaw with being new to the game is my forhand throws. I’m having issues throwing these with mids and approach shots using putters. I can throw better forehands with higher speed docs because it f the wider rims. Will definitely try this to up my game. Thank you!

Did uli shave with his eyes closed?! 😅 the two long hairs by his Adam’s apple distracted me immediately
Edit: not sniping at all. Love you Uli and I love the channel! Thanks for all the great advice

Thank you Paul! This is the kind of break down beginners need.

The best tip for new players is to throw BOTH stances (backhand/forehand)

Even better throw under stable plastic meaning a negative turn (the third number in traditional innova terms)

But how do you actually get more spin? What is the technique? How should the fingers/wrist move?

I like the video but he doesn’t really say *how* he adds more spin. Or did I miss something? I want to add more spin but I can’t figure out how
