Throughout my “male dominated” finance career, every time I earned a promotion there were always “those guys” that would insinuate that I must have “been really good to earn that promotion wink wink”, and typically it was men my age or older who should know better and behave better. My father said something similar. And he taught me how to physically fight back, b/c this is the world I lived in. And, I am hopeful that parents are raising sons to be better instead of feeling the need to teach their daughters to fight. However, we should all know how to fight. ❤
