I live independently, with cerebral palsey. I worked in corporate America, with all its flaws, until it laid me off. I started a small business, and gave it all my time, effort and physical labor, until I literally couldn't do it anymore. More than 25 years, and I paid my taxes, paid into social security and bought my home. I've mentored young people and donated money.

Now I'm on SSI (much less than disability - I slipped through the cracks for that). I've earned what I have. Project 2025 can bleed it all away, in months, not years.

My sister, born in 1963 is intellectually and phyically disabled. The doctors told my mom that Jayne (my sister) wouldnt live past 21 and that she would suffer debilitating seizures. The doctors said we should put her in an instituition. Mom kept her home and my sister is full of life and has lived a fulfilling life and Im her guardian now and she lives in a group home with 3 other women and the staff ratio is 1 to 1. She is 61 years old and outlived my oldest brother. Everyone deserves a chance to live their best life.

I am disabled and suffered terribly during Covid because people close to me couldn't understand why I needed to protect myself. I'm immunocompromised! It shouldn't be that hard to understand, but Trump and his crew filled my loved one's heads with garbage "science". I'm extremely offended and concerned as a person who is disabled and fights for disability rights.

My father's brother was a normal 12yo german kid during WW2, then an accident left him mentally disabled. The SS came and lethal-injected him right in front of the family without a care. Everyone thought "how could this happen here." But Germany wasn't a one-off, this could happen here too if we don't fight like hell now.
