Beating the Tide by a Matter of Minutes || ViralHog

I was boating through a drainage canal in St Pete, Florida and I almost didn't make it under a very low bridge before the tide came up and trapped me.

Been there a thousand times except every time the bridges are loaded with spider webs and it's 30 seconds of yelling every cuss word known to man and flailing around like a chicken getting attacked by a mink.

Did that at a summer camp once. The girl in the front seat of my canoe didn't enjoy the spiders very much... There was a bit of screaming...

Gets through last bridge immediately jumps up for joy that he made it.

Immediately gets knocked in the head by the pipe and falls into water.

Looking at Google maps I've noticed some possible recovery ramps. Could those be used had one not made it?

I’d probably keep an oar handy to push the boat down a couple of inches next time

Just scoop a few inches of water into the boat and it'll ride lower.

Same here i dipped my head down im from were he or she is if you have any kind of boat you need to know the tides its a must

They really need to build new bridges there. With all the money I’m sure that state waists it needs a new bridge.
