Reminds me of that person that said "Customer is King" to a worker in Paris and the worker replied "We're in France, do you know what we do to Kings?"

Trad wives: "women should be at home, not working jobs"
Also trad wives: *all have jobs and work*

Remember, any king who needs to say "I am the king" is no true king.

If he treats her like a queen, she will treat him like a king

A man will be treated like how he is. If he acts like a king, he'll be treated like a king.

I love that Terry just acted as himself in b99. He's so damn consistent 😂

Honestly, the easiest way to tell is, if it focuses on the man it's said by a tradwife. If it focuses on the woman it's an etiquette guide.

I thought he was gonna say something like "she's the queen of our house, and I am the jester"

If you are not in an equal partnership than the person on the losing side is angry whether they show it or not

It's so funny to me how actually 19th century etiquette manuals feel way less obviously misogynistic. They're all about hosting parties, using nice handwriting and not being "too fashionable", not about submission. Not to say that they weren't rooted in misogyny, of course, but they don't feel like they're trying to force women down any deeper.

My favorite thing about the new influx of "tradwife, " is how a lot of them always have dyed hair, and tight clothing like seen here. How are you going to be living in the modern world, but also a servant? It's just grifter content.

Pretty sure 1800 we still had active royalty enough that "king" and "queen" weren't terms we tried to adopt as general "the best". Kings and queens were oppressors... which is a weird way we could turn it around now.

But never met a guy who wanted peace. They argue movies, music, food, etc if you wont actually start with them. First boyfriend found out I had a chess board and immediately was like "bet I can beat you every time". I told him I liked chess, but didnt play often. He proceeded to make me hate chess because not that he won, but he was a rude sore winner.

They require battles, but only want ones stacked in their favor.

This is adorable, but also nothing wrong with wanting to be treated like a king if you treat your partner like a queen. Nobody should be beneath anyone, and nobody should be made to serve anyone or be responsible for them, but in my opinion a good and healthy partnership involves gassing each other up, doing nice things for each other and spoiling each other, etc equally.

If anyone is genuinely thinking of taking up the tradlife lifestyle i encourage them to travel to less developed countries. It helps put things into perspective.
Being stuck in an unfortunate situation sucks. Imagine being stuck there because of some other dude's mistakes, and you can't get out because of his stupidity.
