This song is so real/raw with me in this place of my life. My brother is In his early 30s, dying, very sick due to alcoholism and drugs. Trying to build what memories I can with him before he dies. Its hard having conversations with him when his mind is not all there. Its hard building a relationship when alcoholism and drugs mess him up his memories of everything gets twisted. He has a huge heart sucks we are having to go through this as a family. Hopefully he and I can take care of these issues before the inevitable happens. Much love NF for keeping it real. ❤ your music!

I just heard this song for the first time yesterday. This is 97% truth for me, except its with my mother(not sibling). So it pokes at two aspects: my relationship growing up with my mother, and the day my mother will sadly pass away. No matter what, my mother HAS and will ALWAYS make me stronger. I hate how time constanly fades away for us all.
Just love every experience, cuz it only happens once from your perspective.l
