Recording SOUTHERN ROCK lead guitar

Matt from Diesel Creek asked me to make a southern rock "Lynyrd Skynyrd inspired" song to be used in his videos. Just laid down some awesome lead guitar and I am digging it--thought I would share it.

In this video I create a lead guitar melody line and record it in the beginning of the song using my Gibson Les Paul traditional into my Universal Audio Apollo x8 with UAD plugins. This recording was made in my Home Recording Studio

Oh man yes I see your Orange half stack sublime have you got and played an SG through that beauty... Put the lyrics to it, then let him have exclusive use for one video. Id love to hear this song finished. Hell i was freestyling lyrics riding in the truck listening to tjis masterpiece come together. I pictured in my head a deap gravelly, bluesy sounding voice with almost blues like lyrics. The words for me right out the gate were, i woke up this mornin... with the old lady bangin. on my door. No socks on my feet and dirt on the floor... dude im no lyricist just a funny ass line or two that instantly popped in my head listening to your music.
