Google Home Features Update 4: Routines, Media Timers & more!

A Google Home features updating going over new features Google has added to Google Home devices over the past few months including media alarms and a brand new feature called Routines. WOW I wish I would have known about this Netflix thing sooner. It's been set to the wrong profile in netflix and I didn't know it was changeable. This is why I watch this channel.

I've had serious trouble though with music alarms, I can't get it to just play, "Piano", or "Acoustic guitar".

"Show me the weather", that's new for me!

All of these new features are available outside the US, you just have to set your phone and Google home to US English. I'm in Asia.

Are routines any better than short cuts? For example I set up a shortcut to play a specific Netflix show and turn off all the lights when I say goodnight.

Waking up with a playlist is a nice feature, but would be nicer if it could shuffle the playlist.

Useful features though u haven't had occasion to use them just yet. It'll be more useful when we start getting smart lighting setup, smart thermostat etc. Also only got one google home device, for now.
