Melia Caribe Beach Resort is an All Inclusive location in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Punta Cana International Airport is roughly 35 minutes away. There are several ways to go from Punta Cana Airport to Melia Caribe Beach Resort, including taxis, private shuttles, and holiday package bus service. The resort features around 600 rooms and suites with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, minibars, and private balconies or terraces. The resort has an impressive array of dining options, including a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and a Mexican restaurant. There are also several bars and lounges on-site, including a swim-up bar and a beach bar.
Melia Caribe beach resort has an amazing selection of recreational and entertainment options, including pools, a spa, a fitness centre, a golf course, and a casino. Splash Island, the resort's own water park, is ideal for families with children.

The resort is popular for its beautiful white sand beach with nice water, but on our visit, there was a lot of seaweed, which made swimming unpleasant. In general, we had a good time at this resort for the price that we paid. The resort gets a solid 4 stars in our opinion and is worth a visit if the pricing is right!

I have been to Melia Caribe and to Majestic Mirage. I am going back to Melia in January. The best experience overall. Beaches, night entertainment, food, ambience. Do not go for the time share talk. It is a waste of time at best, and huge waste of money most likely.
