Halloween was the best back in the 70’s and 80’s…. You had the scary movies and trick or treating going on….. I’m 53 now and to this day it’s my favorite holiday! I still dress up to hand out candy and I take vacation the week of Halloween to watch scary movies….. I can’t break tradition

I used to cut grass for an elderly Jewish lady in around 1980 to 82...It was $10 for only about an hour's worth of work. Loved the older folks...and she'd even give me a couple of beers after I did the job (I was only 16 or so....my attitude was hey, take what you can get). She'd feed me like a king too! Rest in peace Mrs. Dobo. Side note: She escaped from Auschwitz. She showed me her tattoo once. She WAS the REAL deal.

Golden era of television... remember all of this; ads and all...ad/commercial executives earned every cent of their money back then because they were geniuses...70's, 80's, and 90's were the best years for commercials ever made in history.

Damn I forgot about this. I was only 3 years old when it came out but they showed it for years into the 80s. Man the holiday specials were great back then. Always looked forward to them.
