Last fall, my 12 year old got drilled right in the mouth up at plate. I wasn't there . My wife said a ton of blood. As they were heading to get medical attention they called me. First thing out if his mouth was that kid couldn't pitch. 3 days later he played in a game with a mask on. We were so proud of him for going right back out there. His coaches and teammates were super impressed.

As a catcher when i was younger i can attest that this is by far some of the most excruciating pain i have felt because of crappy sub par cup.... the sheer pain made me cry like a bitch !!! Spend the good money for a good cup !!!!

i started catching when i was 4 years old. i caught all the way through school and had potential to be a dang good catcher. parents and other coaches projected d1/2 if i stayed with it. i got tall, really tall went from like 5’8 ish to 6”8 and my knees couldn’t take it anymore so i moved to basketball but i miss catching so much man wish i could go back.
