I put this in my playlist when it dropped.. went to the gym and lost weight... then i played it again when I found out my mom had cancer.. put my headphones in and done a marathon run to raise awareness for Cancer survivor's.. fuckin thank you Slipknot you have never failed me !!! Maximum respect.!! I'm also a drummer and Joey was my inspiration to keep learning.. when I heard he had passed away it nearly sent me over the edge.. he meant alot to me as he did to many. I love all the easter eggs pointing towards the past records. There's a riff that resembles The Negative One, there's a three-snare part that throws back to The Blister Exists, there's Corey speaking to a crowd through megaphone like he did in Pulse of the Maggots, etc. All of which given a new context and wrapped inside heavy riffage that I think has that early 2000's Slipknot feel to it. Huge fan.
