In this video, we go over the announcement of the recently announced Regulation H ruleset! We discuss what is banned and no longer playable come September in the legendaries and paradox options, while also revisiting some old familiar Regulation A cores that should be rampant in the early stages of Regulation H.

Honestly I'm hyped. I started playing VGC in Reg D where damage was starting to go way up. I honestly wanted to play Reg A and now I'll be able to play a Reg A-like Meta.

Less damage, more strategies. That's PERFECT

People need to check out the dlc mons. They were already bordering real meta success before, but they definitely have a chance now. The hisuian pokemon, teal mask, transfers/buffed movepool and ability Pokémon, and indigo disk. They weren’t available in reg A and are better now that the legendaries/paradox are gone. They never got a fair chance with a regional dex and were released with legendaries.

Since Palafin, Rillaboom and Incineroar will be one of best cores in Reg H
Dragonite seems like a good counter to those teams, probably dragon dance or AV variant will be popular

I wonder if Alolan Muk will be relevant again, it has some pretty solid statistics and can punish both Ghost and Grass Tera types well.

The mon that will do well is Archaludon. Counters the main core

This is great for me personally. I played strategies that functioned perfectly fine without legendaries and those just slotted in as stronger sweepers or support. If anything, my teams will be better now because they have to contend with weaker counters to the weaker support pokemon.

I’m glad to see that you highlighted Sylveon in the video as I feel that reg h is a great place for it to shine. I’m actually planning on building a team around one and I’m super excited because Sylveon is my favorite pokemon of all time. So psyched for next month!
