Let me tell you, I have really enjoyed Benjamin Godard's music for many years now. To me he was an outstanding composer. You can hear it in this symphony and in other things he composed. This is as good as it gets. All I know is, this Symphony is such a pleasure to listen to. Thank you again for another wonderful upload.

This and his Berceuse are both incredible. It is amazing he's such a secret. Is it possible to add the words "Must Hear" to you description? Oh and thanks for putting it up.

Thanks so much for posting this! I have long been interested in this composer, even though I had heard very little of his music (a nice tenor aria, a piece for flute & harp - can't remember what else), so to hear such an interesting orchestral piece is a real pleasure - and an education. (Subscribed during the first movement.)
