How do you feel about the addition of Christian Koloko? And how do you think he stacks up in their rotation vs Hayes/Castleton? Comment down below!

Wish other Laker channels would put half as much effort into their videos as jsm does. All they do is put boring floating pictures in the background and care about being the first to upload

Nice to see this comparison JSM. We look to have some pretty good potential at Center. I'm relieved that we have more help for AD, now can we use AD at the 4 and rotate our young and talented Centers depending of course on the matchups.

Koloko has great foot speed and quick hops. These skills will come in handy come playoffs.

I want to see castleton have some minutes this season!

Koloko finished with the best net rating in the Raptors in his rookie year. He's a great help defender. Not sure why he's viewed a bad team defender.

I actually want us to keep Traore and rather waive Castleton to make room for Koloko. Two centers taking up 2 out of the 3 two-way contract positions is kinda iffy

God forbid AD misses a game...but out of all our backup bigs Jaxson Hayes is the one I would start hands down. I remember Koloko coming outta high school as a Top Recruit!!!..His defense will be a blessing, as far as his offense all he needs to do is dunk rn....Christian should work with Christian on his offensive game while Christian is out....

Koloko will be a good bet to play with
Anthony Davis, if it works out. It might
Be a highway robbery.

Castleton, is a power forward, if he loses
20 pounds. Could be an excellent power
Forward.

We don't see the more important intangible categories like IQ/Feel for the game; toughness/ heart; motor; work ethic. Things that Austin Reaves or Draymond Green have. That remains to be seen whether any of them have it

Koloko is like a Bam Adebayo prototype alongside AD.

So, JSM, i was not crazy screaming 3 years now that AD MUST, i repeat, MUST return at his preferred spot, @ 4. AD even told himself and now all Lakers Tubers are now making videos regarding this. The biggest mistake Pelinka made after the 2020 ring was NOT acquiring the sole player who fitted 100% with Lebron and AD. His name has always been MYLES TURNER. Turner is the only player who is INSTANTLY going to make Lakers unbeatable for reasons i've explained in this past. Not getting Myles Turner was Pelinka's biggest mistake. Having the 2nd and 3rd best blockers on the league along with the best shooting 3point center in the league was going to make Lakers a JUGGERNAUT.

So, i, along with 3-4 guys screaming this, have been right al along.

Now all we need is Vanderbilt to stay healthy

Ive seen castleton confidently walk into a 3pt shot and sink it. He used to block a ton of shots in college. 3blks per gm. Big man that can handle the ball. Great hands and touch. Could probably turn out to be mid range shooter. He could play alongside AD or Koloko. Hes better than traore bro.

And we need blake hinson.

Can traore be another vando 6ft9 guarding best wings? Now we talking then?

The Lakers are guard-heavy at this moment. I would send more people to the G-League and try to keep all of them in some way, sharpener form. Let's hope that Christian Wood and Jarred Vanderbilt Makena true comeback.

Hayes is obviously the most accomplished of the three since he's been in the league for longer and has played much more than the other two. But that also means he probably has the least growth left. Assuming they are all healthy I would probably pick Koloko if I had to sign one of them for a longer contract.
Also, if you believe in Koloko you could get him very cheaply right now. Lakers need some longer cheap contracts if they want to get back to the top of the conference in the near future. Koloko could probably be a very good 12-18 minutes-a-night-guy to have if he stays healthy and is getting the right coaching.

The Lakers need a thick center to guard players like Jokic and Embid
