1st time i heard this song, i was driving home from just witnessing my dad passing away from a major heart attack. Somehow, it brings me peace and calms me down. Thank you ed and luke for this song!

This album resonates with me more than any music ever has. My dad passed away in August and my best friend all the way back from kindergarten passed in September. I had already felt like I couldn’t breathe after losing dad. When I lost Sue any reserve of air I still had exited my body.
I think I’m ok because I keep myself busy caring for my mom … but I’m not, and don’t think I ever will be. Sort of like Ed said in his Disney+ documentary, you grow up the moment you have that significant of a loss. Even at my age I was still daddy’s little girl.
My dad was sitting in the hospital bed and it was just him and I. I already knew he had pancreatic cancer because my fiancé would hawk the hospital computer right after dad had tests, so we knew before the doctors even told dad. Anyway, it was just him and I and I looked at him and for the first time didn’t see dad, but saw an elderly man who was coming face to face with his mortality and I couldn’t hold the tears in anymore. They flowed down my face and dad said, "It's ok, you’re my girl".
Since moving in with mom I have felt like I’ve been dancing with my eyes closed because dad is everywhere here. So thank you Ed for putting all my feelings the past 9 months into this beautiful album. And thank you to whoever had read this far.
