I am so happy that Mike Howe had the chance to return to Metal Church and do some new albums and tours these past few years. It really broke my heart when I found out that he passed away. It is hard for any band to have one legendary lead singer in their career, but Metal Church had two David Wayne and Mike Howe. I hate that both of them are gone. I love both the David Wayne era, and the Mike Howe era big time. The Mike Howe era will always have a special place in my heart because it is the first time I ever listened to Metal Church. I was barely 10 years old back in 1989 when I first listened to Badlands, and I instantly loved it and became a fan of Metal Church ever since. Blessing In Disguise and The Human Factor are classics and MASTERPIECES to me. Rest In Peace Mike Howe, and thank you for all the music. It really did help growing up be much easier.

I can't believe Mike is dead. I'm not the biggest MC fan but when I heard Blessing in Disguise and that singer, i was floored. Then, since Mike came back to the band, all I heard from people is how amazing Mike was as a person. Seeing interviews, I felt how he was a good guy, loved by so many. And his death touched me, more than anybody from the music world. Why? I hate the fact that nobody could help him, I don't understand.

Damn, he still has it. This is a reminder why Mike Howe is one of my favorite metal vocalists. I need a breath of fresh air from all this growl/scream vocalists of today :)

Several days has passed now and I’m still shocked and crushed. This loss stung hard and will never be forgotten. I’m 44 and was 12 when I first heard Blessing In Disguise and was immediately taken by Mike Howe’s vocals. 2015, I was so excited about his return and was waiting in anticipation to hear what he would sound like after so long. Man, his voice was still massive and didn’t disappoint. He was very underrated and deserved more recognition than what he got during his time. He is and will be forever missed. R.I.P. Mike Howe

Ohh, i still remember when i watched this video for first time. Holy! Mike returned to Metal Church, how exited i was (and still i am). It's a total shame the loss of his voice and life.
