Former Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, embarrassed Brexiteer Nigel Farage when they both clashed over dropping support for leaving the EU. Bercow a prominent 'remainer' called out Nigel's failure to apologise for the damage being done by Brexit.

After Brexit, there was an exodus of foreign workers back to their own countries - many of them, as you say, working in the social care sector. The figure was, I believe, in the region of 200, 000. This led to a colossal shortfall of staff in the sector (exacerbated by Covid, it's true, but Brexit was the main driving force). I was a care worker myself - had been for 17 years - but got out last year because I could no longer stand the stresses and exhaustion of having to work harder and longer to cover the losses. And now this disingenuous and hopeless government is trying to entice people back. Something needs to happen, and damn quickly, otherwise the social care and healthcare sectors will collapse. I don't care what anyone says, I firmly believe that one of the main reasons that huge numbers of people voted 'Leave' was immigration. This country is now an absolute basket-case. Doing the worst out of all the major economies, led by sociopaths and plutocrats who don't have a proper mandate, and populated by a seemingly largely apathetic population who are still insisting on laying the blame on immigrants... oh, and now strikers. We're a global laughing stock.

Thanks for sharing the link to GBN. I have seen the full interview and what a way of the presenters to save Farage every time he was in the ropes. Interrupted Bercow on every ocasión and kept on cutting his arguments, allowing all the time Farage wanted to speak. And even with partial judges Farage was completely destroyed in his arguments.
