Another reason Lowes delivery is terrible

after receiving our second stove with a big dent in the side of it We had to return it back to Lowe's. while the delivery guy was here he pulled the old oven out and left it in the middle of the kitchen. so I took the time to take a look to try and figure out if anything was broken. I removed the electrical access plate to see this. wow I'm surprised I didn't get lit on fire. thanks Lowe's

The green ground wire is supposed to be wired under the green screw. They’ve installed it on top of the white wire, and they didn’t remove the ground strap. Separating the ground wire from the common white neutral wire is important for safety reasons.

Technically it's not going to hurt anything. I know companies that have run green and white wires opposite for years. Not saying that it's right because Lowe's did the same damn thing with my dryer I'm glad I pulled it out and fixed it not to mention they didn't put the anti-pull harness connector on

I personally only bond my neutral and ground at the service panel….but to each their own 🤷🏻‍♂️

They installed mine like that and killed my main breaker. Blamed my house electrical and tried to roll out. Lowes store knew these guys sucked but continued to keep them. Ended up settling with their insurance.

"Light duty commercial" w/h are popular, and have even more options for them to mess up. So, always question them, always research your model number.

Well this is a human error and not a Lowe’s third party contractor error. Let’s say they do exactly as you say and get rid of the third party contractors but hire the same HUMANS as in-house employees. DONT YOU THINK THAT WOULD CHANGE ANYTHING ACCORDING TO YOUR LOGIC? The problem is improperly trained or laziness. It has nothing to do with the company or third party. THIS IS A HUMAN ERROR SIR!
