Sophisticated Travel Outfits

✈️ Sophisticated Travel Outfits: Unpopular opinion here, but I don’t travel in sneakers. I have shown you ladies sneaker travel outfits in the past because you asked for it, but it felt really inauthentic for me to show those. I try to look as sophisticated and polished as possible while still being comfortable when I travel. Time and time again, its gotten me little perks and it happened again yesterday: I tried to pay for a seat upgrade…and ended up getting the same seat for free. As the saying goes, “they treat you as they see you…”

I agree. Its sad to see the things people wear on planes and grocery stores. Take some pride in yourself. It doesn't have to be expensive.. Great outfits!

I think the main thing in elevated classic basics is proper fitting clothes. Makes all the difference if I wear something or not. I traveled for work for 18 years. You are treated better I find too when you put a little pride in your appearance.

I agree with what you say about travel attire especially as now you can find classic but comfortable clothes. I’ve found I don’t need to sacrifice comfort over style. 😊

I couldn’t agree more with your philosophy. My husband is old school like myself and we’ve always taken pride in our appearance. We’ve benefited tremendously from this by the treatment of others. It’s the level of respect that you get more than anything when you’re well put together, and I’m ALWAYS comfortable. Outfits 2&3 will probably be my to and fro travel outfits because those exact pieces are already going in my vacation selection for next weeks cruise. I’m attending many lectures on this cruise.

I don't travel in sneakers either - my feet swell and they become so uncomfortable. I usually wear ballet flats or loafers as the only flights I'm taking these days are 6+ hours. No jeans either as I prefer something that is a little lighter fabric, and with elastic waist. Also - a pashmina shawl is a must as airplanes can be cold!

I wear backless mule sneakers because my feet swell (TMI) on planes. I travel in yoga pants and matching jacket. I also have a cashmere wrap in my tote. Traveling back and forth from Boston to Tampa, it's so rare to see anyone putting effort into travel outfits. Well done! ( New subscriber 😊)
