Dinky 355 Lunar Roving Vehicle Resto Mod

This toy was a gift from a friend. He wants me to make it look more like the real Lunar Rover, so that's what I have done here.

I'm a big space exploration guy so the original casting was by far the coolest castings I'd ever seen I mean ever theeeen you put your touch on it. holy crap sir that thing is beyond awesome. it's true 30 mins can be a bit long but with this one coulda been an hour and I still woulda watched it all

A trip back in time… but not quite to 1955… that rear assembly looks like the back end of a DeLorean Time Machine…

I had this toy when I was a kid, but it was blue. Loved this video! Some of the parts look like they might be from BTTF De Lorian.

The original was missing so much, especially that dish antenna, and the colors were wrong.

The way you refurbished it, it’s a work of art now….
