I often listen to Churchill, Kennedy, and Reagan whenever I’m in the depths of my depression. Somehow their words always manage to help drag me out of the worst of the sadness and self pity/self hatred. Churchill gave hope to the hopeless, a will to the broken, and had the uncanny ability to inspire confidence in the people that they were in safe hands. That His Majesty’s Government would not allow the enemy to set a single foot on British soil without making them pay dearly for the privilege.

Trump seems to have grown up with this idea, even when Churchill mentions the petty. BUT Churchill also says ". . . except to convictions of honor and good sense.. . ." He seems to have missed that. Time to give in, Trump!
