The thing that stuck out to me is the 49er rookie class. Pearsall, Green, Puni, Guerendo and Mustapha all started and played well vs a good team under difficult circumstances. Purdy is an excellent QB. Shanahan is an excellent coach. The foundation is there. The future looks bright. Go Niners.

I have a horrible feeling that the flaw in this team will be loyalty to players. Niners are a long way removed from the School Bullies they were these last few years. Now they look mid, old, injured and overpaid

Love this team but refreshing it is going to be painful and I suspect Kyle does not have the killer in him to cut "his guys"

Total face mask and late hit on Purdy when he was hurt they didn’t call either one. Please let him be ok! Dobbs did a great job coming in. I was impressed by the amount of effort and pride we showed out tonight with our duct tape and bubble gum line and young guys and newly added guys. Everyone can just stop with the talk about how our winning culture is gone.

Sorry Matt, I disagree with you on Moody. They should cut them right away. he cost a seven points tonight. How many points did he cost us in the previous 16 games? To put a cherry on top of it, he cost us in the Super Bowl, but not making the last-minute field goal. I can’t wait until he’s gone.

Bye-bye Moody 👋 you had all the chances in the world; another mistake Lynch and Kyle tried to work with, but the dream is over. I couldn't tell Brock was playing behind a makeshift line. That just goes to show you that you never know what kind of player you have until they get a chance to play and showcase what they got. Hopefully, a lesson learned. Bang bang 👏

At least the 49ers got a better draft position out of this. That was actually the best they could have done in this case. Brock Purdy getting injured was terrible; but he looked fairly good before that.

I agree with the thought that Moody will likely end up being a great NFL kicker on another team. KS has also brought this up in defense of Moody but the point still stands. Sometimes it is not just a "Needs to develop" case as much as "He needs to hit rock bottom and then he will figure it out" and in the latter scenario there is no hope that Moody will ever be a good Niner because the Rock Bottom can only come after we cut him.

KS, Purdy and the rest of the top 9er players, rookies and even the oline nobodies from other teams' PS gave the 13-2 Lions their best shots is all every fans can ask for, and obviously KS pulled out every trick they were saving on offense for this year's playoffs since they aren't making it, and ofc they came up short without Greenlaw Ward TW BA CMC Mason, stop whinning if you're a true faithful 9er fan, they did their best, it just wasn't the 9ers' season coming off SB OT loss and it was mostly due to injuries to many of their top and most expensive players not able to play. (I mean imagine Goff with Purdy's pathetic patchwork offensive line in the match instead, Goff would be sacked more and throw more interceptions than Purdy and if the defense was exchanged, IG would have had 5+yds avg & 100+ yds and the 9ers would have ran more in the 2nd half and not to mention Moody the failed kicker if the kickers were exchanged also the score would be much different!!!!)

Why are they testing the ucl. He had the shoelace surgery "internal brace", the ucl is already torn, it's not going to tear further unless it's coming off the bone, the shoelace itself is synthetic and wasn't going to snap.
