I noticed that the soonsun case comes with a hot shoe mount on top of it out of the box. What do you think about mounting a Rode VideoMicro in that location? My concern is it may show up in frame especially while using the dead cat.

Def want to setup a rig like this! I do mostly mountain bike POV's & I'm going to get an EVO Gimbal to use for riding. But off the bike, I want to record some VLOGS of training and everyday life of a privateer racer. I was thinking about using the gimbal/arm it provides and call it good, but having a screen/powerbank is needed when out all day at Whistler or something. Tbh, I'd add a powerbank to each leg (or at least 1 more to charge your phone as well). Anyways, I think this will help a lot! Cheers on the awesome content & subscribed/shared the vid with some friends who'll enjoy your content.
