I think they’d probably reuse series 7 chassis. Personally, I think it depends on what apple does for the iPhone SE as well

Increasing the size on the iPhone is one thing. Doing it on a watch that has to fit on a wrist. People with small wrists will find the watches cumbersome.

Don't care about the shape of the watch or the slightly faster processor. The only reason I would upgrade is if they actually release those bio sensors.

I still do not think Apple is making the watch so square, i can see them squaring it off a little perhaps but not at the corners. Improved sensors and better health data would be welcome.

It makes sense. People think all this new tech just works on the first try but the big deal with Apple is that they will delay or cancel even major product releases if they don't work at a very high quality level. All other tech companies just shove it out the door as fast as they can -ready or not here it comes...
Apple has always had a vision of having a luxury version of the watch -so people could display how much money they have, like they do with mechanical watches. They hired the CEO of Burberry and paid her a ton of money to fail at it but they won't stop trying. Before the apple watch, I wore a titanium Seiko solar for two decades. Titanium is absolutely the best metal for a watch. I only wish they could make a watch solar and as long lasting. Maybe I'll get one of these in titanium -my AAPL shares just broke into 7 digits Friday.
