I was 6 years old, and Red was by far my favorite comedian, even though I was young, I understood most of it, because his characters were mostly physical, like mimes, me and my dad would crack up at his antics, I loved Red, because you could tell he was real, a performer who loved making people laugh. At the end of every show he would say God bless, and he meant it. Thank you for letting me remember the best times if my childhood, long time ago.🙏

This was on my sister's 16th birthday! Our family enjoyed Red Skelton so much that it was the only school night of the week that Dad let us stay up past 9 pm. Red Skelton's show was on Tuesday nights and we got ice cream before his show was over at 9:30. When we introduced Red to our children they enjoyed him just as much as I did as a child. Fond memories, for sure!

Good grief, I was just 3 years old when this show aired, but I remember watching it with my folks. Red always put a smile on our faces, Bless his soul!

Red Skelton is one of those shows that were honest and genuine. They should be bringing them back and letting kids today know what reality is. I miss these shows so much. 💞💞

Always love watching Red Skelton and my favorite part was when he would start laughing about his joke before he said it was. Red Skelton is a Hoosier born in Vincennes Indiana.

Taped from Studio 33 at CBS Television City in Hollywood. Mr Skelton did his show there for 17 years.
It is now known as the Bob Barker Studio Studio. Mr. Barker did The Price Is Right for 35 incredible Years.
