Love this format of video! Keep them coming! I've done the same thing with my collecting a few different times. I'll get really into one thing, go hardcore at it, get overloaded then sell it all. Then it's on to the next kick. I've cycled through comic books, video games, toys, etc. each more than one time. I never think streamlining is a bad idea. Excited to see the Den 2.0. One bit of advice I have from my own experience: A fun way to declutter the den and spark joy at the same time is to "hide" some small PVC figures or whatever in random places. I have a PVC Gummy Bears figure chugging gummy berry juice next to my medicines in the medicine cabinet. Every time I need to take medicine he makes me smile and feel a little better. I've also got figures stashed in house plants around the house, the cereal cupboard etc. Fun way to declutter but still run across them from time to time and be "surprised" by them. I've never seen Dallas either. May have to give it a watch. Have you watched Twin Peaks? That's one I watched a few years ago for the first time and loved it. Definitely has 80s vibes. Check it out sometime if you haven't. Great video, Perry!

Looks like a nice neighborhood, the sled riding you showed the other day looked like fun, too. I need to take walks more often myself!

The walking vlog format is wonderful. Sometimes the best things happen unscripted and off-the-cuff. I love how you brought up the fact that we notice so much more detail in everyday things when we are kids. I have been noticing this a lot lately because I catch my 9-year-old son doing it and I think, "That is something I would've noticed at his age." Random "ordinary" objects hold so much more intrigue and importance when viewed through the magic lens of a child.

Your walk also brought back a specific memory for me when you talked about the drainage ditch. There was a creek that ran through my backyard as a kid, and it turned into a concrete drainage area about halfway through my yard. Before going to the next property, it became enclosed in a concrete pipe about 3 ft in diameter. About 150 ft or so into this pipe, it passed under the street and there was a large metal grate in the road that would let sunlight in and illuminate that area inside the drainage pipe. My friends and I would take turns going into the pipe while the others waited on the street at the grate. The challenge was to see if we had enough guts to go 150+ ft into the pipe into the lighted area to look up and see our friends at street level. Man, the '80s were so much fun. I can't imagine my son doing something like this today.

Awesome video! I live in a townhouse and we lived in a townhouse from when I was about 3 years old until I was 7, and walking through the neighbourhood that I live in now, it does bring back memories of taking walks with my mom and siblings, who were both toddlers at the time, in the neighbourhood we lived in when we lived in the first two townhouses we lived in in the early '90s. There was a park that my mom would take us to as well as an area where there was a duck pond.

As long as the ambiance videos don’t leave me. Those things are 🔥 wish I would’ve thought of that idea.

Fun video! I love vlog type videos. Idk why it’s so interesting watching other people do ordinary everyday things but it is. I could be wrong but I think the tree you were showing is a cedar tree. I live an hour or so away from Southfork Ranch and I have never been. I keep saying I’m going to. lol. Have a great night!

If I can make suggestion: don’t sell anything. I’ve done that and I regretted it terribly.
