From Abandoned Railway to Nature Reserve: Exploring London’s Parkland Walk
Показать описание
Running almost entirely through the Borough of Haringey, the Parkland Walk is London's longest nature reserve; a linear park which bears some resemblance to New York City's 'High Line' in that it occupies the site of an abandoned, elevated railway (although London's version is longer and older!)
In this video I'd like to take you on a tour of the Parkland Walk, heading from east to west, and along the way I'll tell you all about the railway which once existed here, as well as pointing out items of interest on and around the route.
