Every year in September, the 🇪🇺EU organizes #EUBeachCleanup - an international campaign encouraging people worldwide to clean coastal areas and beaches from garbage and waste.
One thousand kilograms of garbage were collected on the banks of the Karasu River in Astana as a result of the World Clean-up Day and #EUBeachCleanup events organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Astana with the support of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Estonia in Kazakhstan.
