@FASTEDY101 It's actually the 2011 version. Look at the box. The 2010 version is for PC (released 4 months ago), and 2011 is for Mac (released yesterday). Mac usually has the year after PC in it's name.

Pick up office for Mac from my work, My Job offers Microsoft Home use program and I didn't pay $199 for it either I was so happy for that but I was debating over iWork or office and I was wondering what's the real big difference between the two

Office:mac 2011 has an update for messenger that now supports video conference calls. 2008 only allowed this for corporate users.

@MadDogMeh because this is the mac version they don't have a 2010 version windows just got all that earlier than macs

Can you please explain why someone would want to switch over to Office when the you can get the suite (pages, numbers, etc) from Apple? As someone that doesn't have a Mac (yet) I am curious if I'll need to consider such options...
