2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge EV / Quicker than a Tesla!?

The 2022 XC40 Recharge is quicker than the comparable Model Y long range and Mustang Mach E ext. range, but is it better? That's what I am here to find out!

08:27 the XC40 WAS made from the ground up to be an EV, it's just that it was also designed to be an PHEV or ICE car as well hence the space for the gearbox but even that is filled with batteries on the EV. Yes it's a compromise but it's not like other cars that have just had a EV drivetrain shoved in to an regular car.

I am a Volvo fan of all the products of this company. I really like the design, safety, the change that the company has made in recent years is impressive, and I do like the electric cars that come from a normal car more than a futuristic design that goes cost a lot to fix. you have muscular arms

I like your reviews. Please continue to talk about the seats and comfort levels in depth, most reviewers never talk about what is probably considered as the most important thing, comfort level! Also letting your viewers know how your height plays into the comfort level is just as important. Thanks!

Nice review. I appreciate the substantial b-roll, so that even when you’re doing the “drive” review, we get plenty of external shots. It kills me when you have to watch reviews with 10 minutes of some dude and the steering wheel.

I'm not sure how things are in Bloomington but here the nearest charging station is 30 miles away and no immediate plans for any in my town. Plus cold kills batteries.

Excellent review. I have one since June this year, mainly I didn’t want to wait for a year for an BMW i4 I preordered and the nearest Polestar dealer is too far away. However I never regretted going for the Volvo. You Are Right on with Your review the Volvo might not match Tesla and Ford in terms of range but I think it is definitely more luxurious and I prefer the design inside and outside. One point to add the software is a work in progress, however they add new features every 2 months which is like getting new presents but all of those features should had been there from the beginning. Apple car play is supposedly coming up next. You should had mentioned the fully integrated Goggle maps, the car plans automatically charging stops and preheats the car. Anyway great job and I will subscribe.

Fewer than 300 miles per charge.... No wonder it is called re-charged, as it really needs to be .... always!
