Its NOT for the slaughterhouse. Good lord all they have to do is go back and watch a bazillion other shows that explains this. Sandy you're doing amazing. So patient with these people cause you are awesome!!

Her vlog the other day, I saw he walking outside the pen cuddlying a lamb. I thought it had escaped and she was taking it to its mom. Sadly, it had died of pneumonia. She wasn't holding it as if it was nasty to carry a dead lamb. She was showing her continual love to all her lambs. If people would watch the show long term like I have, you will know that Sandi cares deeply for her animals.

We mark our lambs also with spray paint made for animals. Most of our lambs do not go to slaughter, they are sold as replacements for other flocks in the 5 state area.

I just watched a Tara video, and her approach to answering dumbass comments really IS like night and day, and I love them both and learn so much from both. (Do no harm, but take no shit. We got sheep to un-turtle.) 🐢 🐑 😂

I also love these because my dad raised lambs for my mother while I was growing up, and it was so much work, yet we had only a handful of sheep because they were my mom's "hobby". Watching THESE sheep moms do their jobs made me realize how my mom treated her sheep, THAT was abuse. She lost interest and my dad couldn't keep up with their care by himself, and so lambs were dying because they couldn't feed through all the wool they just let grow and never did anything with. When my dad did sheer them it was by himself with little experience. He eventually wisened up and sold them to a local Amish farm. People who are ignorant should do more listening and asking questions, and they'd find themselves less the fool. Some people think it's stupid to ask some questions, and maybe some questions are stupid, but admitting ignorance is better than pretending you know a professional's job better than THEY do.

I don't understand why people don't understand the markings? I got it just by looking at them. Oh, mother and her babies all get the same number? So it's to keep track of what babies go to which mama! It's really obvious if you think about it for like. Thirty seconds.
