Well said. Fixing an economy is not achieved by increasing taxation. Profitable businesses create the jobs, stimulate spending and bring in more tax for the government. Past UK Labour governments learned the hard way that increasing taxes doesn't work. You can't easily put numbers on it but there is considerable damage to the economy when entrepreneurs leave.
