10 Things About Infinity War That Make Absolutely NO Sense

Now that the Infinity War is over, the dust -- and ashes of our heroes -- has settled and we can process all of the events we just saw. Shocking deaths, major plot twists, and some big reveals all were encompassed around some classic Marvel action. Despite this, there are still some things that truly make no sense when analyzing the movie.

After his battle with Thanos, Bruce Banner is unable to conjure up the Incredible Hulk again, but these performance issues seem out of place, especially when considering some of the other battles Hulk has come across. Thanos uses the Power Stone to easily dispose of the Hulk, but his strength seems to change and flow throughout the course of the film, including a moment with Captain America. Loki has spent years working with Thanos and coming up with plans, but his last-ditch effort to stay by his side seemed pretty poorly planned. The Bifrost used to send Hulk to planet Earth could have been used in a number of different ways, including on Thanos himself. Nick Fury appears in the post-credits scene of the movie, but why wasn’t he there to warn The Avengers or help in any way? The Children of Thanos were at first presented with some great abilities, but something might have made them weaker as heroes like Black Widow and the Falcon could easily take them on. Doctor Strange opens and closes multiple portals in the movie, including one that slices off a body part, but he didn’t use them in the same way against Thanos. Red Skull was a major surprise in the movie, but analyzing his presence brings a lot more questions than answers.

I wouldn't question Dr. Strange's motives because the dude literally looked through 14 million futures for the fight against Thanos. I'm sure one of the those futures consisted of him attempting to cut the Thanos' gauntlet off but that could have still resulted in the Avenger's failure. Dr. Strange knows what he's doing lol...

1. He doesn't use his full strength against Captain America, since he is possesses the Soul Stone, he is able to see Steves pure soul and simply stops, because he is impressed by it. Same with when he says to Stark that he isn't the only one cursed with knowledge (-> He sees the visions Tony had about all the Avengers dieing etc)

2. Heidall using the Bifrost to teleport Thanos away from them would have been useless, since Thanos already had the Space Stone, making him able to teleport right back.

3. As Redskull himself says, the stones made him guard, what he can't have. Kind of like a punishment, because he has to see others (Thanos in this case) do what he couldn't (get and wield the Stone).

Total misunderstanding of the Hulk. He wasn't hiding. He was fed up being pushed around by Banner and started to refuse to come to his call. Mark Ruffalo even explained this in an interview.

Thanos didn’t need his children because he was weak, he needed them because he couldn’t be in 3 places at once. Remember his plan was all about speed before the strong forces of the universe could raise arms against him. He needed them because it was a heist not a siege or anything of sorts.

The Loki scene really bothered me. I mean he just straight up tries to stab him? That is not Loki like. Especially because I was convinced he tried to gain his trust and work for him to betray him later

Sending thanos away wouldn't have worked as he already had the space stone and would have came back to them in an instant

Loki disappeared off camera for three minutes he definitely had a plan! He also told thor that “the sun would once again shine upon them” confidently so he def has a plan

What? This video makes no sense. Before he died, Heimdall said “Let the dark magic flow through me one last time”. He could only use the bifrost once since he was wounded and dying. If he teleported Thanos away then he would just teleport right back because of the space stone. I think you guys should do some more research before including these points.

1) The Hulk felt disrespected by Banner, not scared. He wants to be used for more than fights. Confirmed by Joe Russo.

2) Not once in their fight did the Power Stone glow. Thanos used his own natural strength and skills to neuter The Hulk.

3) Loki was hopelessly outmatched by Thanos and the Black Order. He is constantly a victim of his own hubris so he couldn't help but to take the Tesseract, thusly he was tracked down by Thanos and backed into a corner with very low survival chances anyway.

I don’t believe Loki is dead, there is no way he would think he could beat Thanos after giving him the space Stone with his minions watching. There is no way he is dead unless the Russo‘s confirm otherwise I can’t believe it

the reason Dr. Strange didn't use the portal on Thanos was that he saw the 14 million possibilities and knew there was only 1 way they could win so therefore using a portal on Thanos clearly wasn't the 1 way
