Minnesota native here, picking Walz was the greatest choice she could have made. Last night rally had me laughing, crying and hopeful for the first time in a long time. I'm a former Republican. I disagree with you guys on this. I think Walz is a great choice. I like Shapiro and I get that he could help add Pennsylvania but I really like Walz and I think the country will like him as they get to know him. Also, most of his "liberal" accomplishments in Minnesota are actually very popular in the rest of the country. When you ask people how they feel about those specific issues, you will be surprised. Finally, Walz is in a unique position to speak about the right's efforts to ban IVF and I suspect you will be hearing his story about that much more in coming weeks. He will be able to shine a light on the injustice being pushed at us from the right.
