Unpopular opinion: GD never was all that, he only got MARKETED as a legend, and they tried to make him as unique as possible, both in sound and appearance, to mask up the fact that he was in fact lacking in many aspects. It's pretty much what YG does. They take excpetionnally charismatic individuels, ask them to act nonchalant and cute, but at the same time these individuals, while marketed as "legends" and "it boys/girls" don't really have much to offer. It's really a genius tactic, and worked every single time they tried to make it work.

I’m not a kpopie and did not see the video of the N word but I am aware of people hating on Blackpink. If the girs were covering the songs assigned to them and the N word is part of the song why is it the girls’ fault? One thing people tend to forget is idols are given these songs to perform and are told to benchmark them. They have to perform them word by word. If youre to criticise anyone, it's the companies.
And for those saying jennie and Rose should've known better, they didnt grow up in America. In case you notice, people who grew up in the states knew it wasnt okay to use the n word unlike in other countries. Social media has made people more aware of that issue today unlike in the past.

The BP members werent at fault then, but now that theyre promoting in the west, i find it hypocritical of them to not acknowledge their past.
