Great video - my view after implementing SAP for 20+ years: companies consider the project an IT project - which leads to all the reasons you mention + some of own here : the business people give it low priority + some companies also look to minimize the costs as much as possible + don't take ownership (give it to the SI) + neglect change management + IT project ==> only a technical thing + today with digital thread being front and center: don't break down the walls between the company silos and throw a new system at every issue they + ... I could mention many more

avoid ERP/MRP vendors. ERP vendors are main reason for bad implementations. adopt an erp where there is no middleman.
