@17:39 As you included support.c in in file1.c bc you using display function which is defined in support.c, so with that logic you should include file1.c in support.c bc you using x in support.c as x is defined in file1.c?

Can't we access the global variable defined in one file from another file by simply initializing or doing any operation on it without declaring with extern keyword just before it use?

Ma'am! You did not include the extern1.c file in support.c and you're still able to use 'x' from extern1.c. Why is it not giving error?
What is the logic?

Mam but if we are including another file in our code that means we can use its contents.So why the need of extern. In your code if we remove extern before display function declaration, we can also use it since it is imported to our current file?
