Singer Nell Smith Dead at 17

Musician Nell Smith has died at 17-years-old. Nell's family says she listened to music in utero and started performing live at the age of 11. She is best known for her collaboration with the band The Flaming Lips. In 2021 Nell and the Flaming Lips recorded a cover album of Nick Cave songs. The family has not confirmed a cause of death, though the frontman for the Flaming Lips, Wayne Coyne, said on stage during a concert that Nell had been in a car accident.

This is really sad. She had a fantastic voice. I've never heard of her before this video, but this young lady had absolutely massive talent. That voice is so hauntingly beautiful.
