Exercises to Cultivate Remote Viewing with Lyn Buchanan

Lyn Buchanan, MA, is the executive director of Problems - Solutions - Innovations, a corporation based in Alamogordo, New Mexico. For over eight years, he participated in the Army's remote viewing program based at Fort Meade, Maryland. He is the author of The Seventh Sense: Secrets of Remote Viewing as Told By a Psychic Spy for the U.S. Military.

Here, Lyn Buchanan shares a number of exercises that he uses with his remote viewing students. These exercises are designed to help bring information from the subconscious mind into conscious awareness. He also describes some of the issues he confronts dealing with the public as a trainer of remote viewing skills.

Lyn has become my favorite RV guru. If you've never tried Remote Viewing for yourself, I highly encourage you to try. It has expanded my life immensely, and it can expand yours. When I got my first clear and accurate results when perceiving a blind target, everything changed. Everything. Many are afraid to try. The most gifted people I know are afraid. It's such a shame, because they could change the world. You have to have courage to do or experience anything in life, except the experience of giving up and letting things stay the same.

The comment about the subconscious knowing everything, for all time, is so true. I have had dreams in which my subconscious was SCREAMING at me through my dreams—sending clear warning and even “rational mind” unknowable information about someone’s actives that were supposed to be secret—enough to freak out my former spouse! So good to hear these experiences validated!

A few years ago I was taking a nap and had a vivid dream about a beautiful place with green mountains on both sides of a wide river ... I could see the houses and suddenly the image turned into a bright night with all the lights of the same place ... my boyfriend, who was in Washington DC at that moment, called me waking me up and I told him about the dream ... he was shocked and told me that at that moment he was watching on TV a car race in Newfoundland, Canada and described the same place on my dreams ... I googled it and could not beleive it was exactly the same place!!!!

I experienced the "first timer" effect and it scared me so much, I did exactly what you said. I shut down. I saw and then verified the target, a place I had never been. I said WOW! I don't want to step into that room ( reality) again without the training. My friend bought Lyn's book and I am going to buy Lori's book next week. We will compare notes.

Brilliant presentation - very informative, thank you. So weird..even though I was a little girl at the time - I felt comfort that Gorbachev was going to change things. And he did. And though I find people with mind control/conspiracy issues irritating, the fact that the seem to operate at a different frequency - reminds me that they still need to grow past emotion. That we may have once in our existance been at that same point they are - and it is our job to give them time and space so they can be guided in their own time.. by our example. Not that any if us are better or worse - only that our differences are part of the great machinery of the universe

Picking up on the ambiance of a room is what I do naturally but I’ve never thought to spend time noticing the changes. This is very useful! Although perhaps I have when I think of situations of crisis I’ve been able to respond in a way has had my friends ask me how did I know this or that was going to happen and I really couldn’t put a inner knowingness into words other than I said I just became aware of it. I’ve had no training in crisis situations. Fascinating the stages and how to develop the impressions refining the details more and more. This is not unlike researchers would do - find the data, collect the data, follow the evidence, develop, test and refine. Expanding our language/vocabulary is very useful for expanded describing - great advice and the resulting effect in honing this is how “awake” one becomes. Knowing one can “travel” along our consciousness / sub consciousness to another location is life changing for sure! I too have that question am I living life with purpose. Benefits of philosophical implications and the access provides such deep insights who wouldn’t want this to enrich their experiences in life! MK ultra fanned the flames of discussions of government sophisticated abilities to control people psychically especially those who have been investigated by government and gone through some kind of reprogramming using psychotropics.

Thanks for the book tip. I immediately bought an e-version. Already in the preamble the door is opened to the meaning of this book, not only for art's or remote viewing's sake. I'd say it could have ramifications for other areas in human life as well, as it apparently teaches the pupil to "see what is"; something that is sorely lacking in areas like politics etc today. As I watched this video for the first time, I was interested in studying upon ancient languages, intuitively upon hearing the word “gestalt” and thinking I didn’t know enough German. Then to later hear about the limitations of language, “ha!” I certainly appreciate these interesting and illuminating presentations!

Notice the details in changes in ambiance, start creating an ideogram system that works with my unconscious, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. Stage 1 ideograms of gestalts, stage 2 is words, stage three is 2D ideograms. Play vocabulary game. Start paying more attention to finer and finer empirical details. Play restaurant game some day when the world goes back to normal... Play tachistoscope games. "Do you see what I see" game. Practice not jumping to conclusions through I Ching readings. No assumptions, no descriptions, just feel, see, sense.
