I was expecting you to tell us after the double boxtopper followed by a regular non-extended art in box two, that the last 9 packs were guaranteed topper-free and anyone shady enough would sell them off as single packs.

DO NOT buy individual packs; Rudy is very correct that it would be extremely easy for a LGS to open the box-toppers and hose you.

They tend to either be arranged in a vertical stripe or a cube (2x2). Box 2 was an aberration (with only two box-toppers).

Rudy, you should number the packs, then take out one randomly, and see if it is a box topper. If it is a box topper open the packs around that random pack.

When I had my store I was an ultra Timmy and always shuffled two boxes together randomly then put them out for sale to break mapping.

How can you say the pattern is still the same after cracking the Robber of the Rich EA foil in a separate part of the box? It might be the rares being clumped together but mythic EA foils can be separate.

My lgs is shuffling the box when he opens them and you aren't allowed to pick your own pack he gives one to you so that way it gets shuffled around so it's more fair and so nobody comes in and is like "I'll take the bottom 4 packs"

The one Igs i use to help at we would open the booster box and shuffle all the packs within just to prevent people from mapping boxes. Thus all packs were true random to prevent things like these boxes from becoming a problem.

Hi Rudy, the third Boxtopper in the second box was coming separate. So, there, the rule did hold true.

The mythic boxtopper was next to a storybook frame. Adventure cards do not have boxtoppers, so it's possible that storybook art IS being treated the same as boxtoppers in the sorting process which means that they were clumped.

Seems the storybook rare foils are considered the same rarity as the boxtoppers. So that mythic was not alone. one even pops up in-between boxtoppers at 5:35 on the recent hosetown video.
