This is another video where I share my expectations about Germany or other related issues and realities that I encountered. This is where I had my own expectations:

1. The need of German language for English taught courses
2. Getting jobs without knowing German
3. Electronics are cheap in Germany
4. Germans are cold people
5. Getting a license in Germany

My other videos that might help you get some information about Germany.

Much love!

Hallo Nikita.

Hi Nikita, grumpy,
reserved, grumpy and old german here. It´s again a wonderful video again! I agree totally.
I´d like to comment on the language skills in antother country: Language skills are only a very important part. From my very subjective perspective, I think it´s a common misconception to concentrate only on the teaching subjects of a study - wether in your home country or abroad. Social learning during the time at the university is mostly far underrated. For the most of the students it´s the first time away from home and the start of an independend life. It is sad if you´re living during that time only in the comfort zone (bubble) of international students, although it´s an extraordinary experience as well. To take it all in, including the culture of another country is a once-in-a-life-time experience. From my experience I developed my own personality so much beside the lessons at university and this includes all the fantastic (and sometimes bizzarre) parties, the meetings in bars and the crazy times at beaches and so on. We had so much valuable discussions and fights about politics. I was also engaged in students politics (member of the generell students commission - ASTA) at the university, participated political demonstations and so on. Not a minute of that all was a waste of time! I learned so much for life and my career. If studies where only about learning for teaching subjects, you could take a certain number of books, read them somewhere alone at a beach and come back later to do the exams. Are you really prepared for a professional career then? I doubt. Studying means much more. To embrace that all, the language skills are a most important part of it- even if you study in your home country. Universities everywhere are melting pots and so the is the social student life. I was a different person after my studies in many ways. BTW all the social experiences in another country themselfes can improve your chances for good jobs later in your home country a lot. The studying time was a highlight in my life (despite of some hardships) and I think it´s the same for the most of other students. You´re a very good example for this thesis as well - as far as I can judge it: The most important things happened beside the
Have a lovely sunday with your family!

Greetings from Russia! Personally I would be happy, if you could film a video about how you got your driver license because I'm thinking to get my first driver license once I live in Germany. Your experience is very interesting for me to learn from! And thank you Nikita for the videos you make, they help me a lot to understand about Germany and its culture!

Those are good tips to keep in mind. The only reason one should want to buy a laptop from Germany should be if they "want" a German keyboard. And I think you should also mention the license "affair" is not only intense and kinda stressful, but also "far" more expensive as compared to India. 😅 Amazing video like always. #muchlove

Hey Nikita, I have been watching your videos for quite sometime. Great content. I lived in India 🇮🇳 for few years, growing up back in 90s, after that my family moved to South Africa and now I am here in Nürnberg, Germany. I watch your videos as it’s fun to see Indian prospective towards German way of life, couldn’t agree more. Listening about your License struggles really made me smile 😃. And congratulations, didn’t know you got married and have a baby ❤️. Hoping to see more great stuff from you.

Hey Nikita, started to watch your videos a month ago and I must say I like them very much. I am living in Frankfurt Suburbs for about 3 yrs now and still learning things. BTW. I love your lustrous hair!! since I watched most of your videos in a short span of time I noticed you got several haircuts this year. I would love to hear your hair maintenance stories, the German words you use for the type of haircuts your got and any product recommendations? :) Keep up the good work!

FWIW: What's cheaper to replace, a clutch or brake pads? I'm shifting third into neutral. Have a nice day.
