I started using these looks a couple days ago! The first time was smooth sailing (also my first time using a fireplace in general), the second time (right now as I'm typing) scared me a little bit since the flame got a little too big for my comfort (nothing serious; the log kinda toppled over on itself and I panicked lol). It's back down to a comfortable (for me) size. That subtle crackling is so aesthetically pleasing 😍

Inserting a few random M80's might up the excitement level. I know burying a few in the ashes of fire pits in Boy Scouts always got a significant reaction from the next group. Peace

Thank you! I was very curious about this particular duraflame log. I am pretty disappointed. I thought it would have had more crackle and pop. I’m not sure if you could here it in an outdoor fire pit. Anyways I am very happy you shared this video. I think I will pass on the crackle. It’s a lot more than the other duraflame logs. So I will just stick with the traditional ones. Thanks again!
