In all Honesty, you could put the Gravity Falls theme over anything (Basically anything) and it would make it sound more Mysterious and Adventurous.

The intro just changes the tone for the shows for me. For Rick and Morty, I get the typical Gravity Falls meet sci-fi vibe, while for Gravity Falls, I get a more X Files horror vibe.
