Shake, Rattle & Roll Extreme, also known as Shake Rattle & Roll 16, marks the epic comeback of the beloved Filipino horror anthology series after a 9-year hiatus. This 2023 installment, produced by Regal Entertainment, is the sixteenth and final film in the franchise. Directed by Jerrold Tarog, Joey de Guzman, and Richard Somes.

The Shake, Rattle & Roll series has been a staple in Filipino horror cinema since its inception, captivating audiences with its spine-chilling stories and supernatural thrills. This latest film is notable not only for its return but also for not being part of the Metro Manila Film Festival for the first time since the sixth film in 1997.
