Breaking Bad must be terrifying from Gretchen's point of view.

She meets this great guy in college. They start a business together with his friend. She introduces him to her family. Then he just bails. No explanation or anything. She's hurt, but she moves on. She marries her remaining business partner. They make bank. They even reunite with her ex who doesn't seem to harbor any hard feelings. They even offer to help pay for his treatment. They're friends after all. Then he changes. He is hostile, and angry, and starts accusing her of cutting him out of the company he left of his own volition. Ok, weird, but he has terminal cancer. So, he's in the 5 stages, right? Then she hears on the news that he's a drug kingpin in Albuquerque and the feds are after him something fierce. Then he shows up at her house, makes them bring in a boatload of drug cash and threatened her and her husband with two "gunmen" if they don't give the money to his family. Specifically his money. Then he disappears again with the threat that someone is always watching. It's straight up nightmare fuel.
