I figured it out:
The cylinder has a hole that faces you, and we can't see it because of perspective. The balls roll through the table and into your lap (I can see the 2nd ball's shadow falling in your lap) and nothing stays in the cylinder.

Man this came up randomly in my recommended and I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. This channel was such a big part of my childhood, and now I’m halfway through college. Time flies. Glad to see Quirkology is still at it.

Similar answer to Geri, the blue tower leans over your lap. The folds of the paper keep it from collapsing, while also creating an illusive perspective. The balls is pushed through a a hole that is a bit lower than the mouth, unseable from due to the perspectiv, and onto your lap.

Edit: another way the trick could have been done is thatthe tower actually does straighten out normally, but hides a flap at its base facing the magician. A angled piece of paper in it directs and bounces the ball out of the flap. Propelling the ball in just makes it more likely to clear the table with speed.

Here is how it was done:
The back of the tube has a hole, that allows the ball to go to a portal and travel to another dimension, where nothing exists yet. It’s parallel universe, where things are still in the process of creation. Those little balls you see are now the king of some parallel universe no one will ever see.
